Nå er det endelig klart for årets første herremajor, alle de største spillerene er med, samt noen debutanter, blant annet svenskene Henrik Stenson og Carl Petterson
Turneringens navn er, som du sikker allerede vet, The Masters og spilles på den annerkjente banen Augusta National.
Årets premiepott er på 7 millioner dollar, nesten 50 millioner kroner.
Verdensener og tittelforsvarer Tiger Woods er som vanlig storfavoritt.
Tiger sin far har de siste årene kjemptet mot kreften, og de siste ukene har det forverret seg kraftig. Hvis det forverrer seg ytterligere er det ingen tvil om at Tiger trekker seg fra turneringen, men det håper vi altså ikke skjer.
Selv sier Tiger at faren sykdom ikke går utover spillet hans på golfbanen, han klarer å konsentrere seg fullt på alle slagene.
Henrik Stenson skal spille de to første rundene i sammen med Vijay Singh og Arron Oberholser. På torsdag slår de tre ut klokken 10:12 lokal tid (16:12 norsk tid).
Tiger Woods, Edoardo Molinari og Robert Allenby går i ballen bak.
I fjor vant Tiger Woods turneringen i Sudden-Death omspill, noe som sannsynligvis ikke ville skjedd om det ikke hadde vært for denne chippen.
