Tiger og veldedighet

Tiger Woods bruker mye penger på veldedighet, men som om ikke det var nok, får han også andre til å bidra med veldedighet.
Denne helgen arrangerte han Tiger Jam IX i Las Vegas, hvor over 10 000 tilskuere møtte opp får å se Sting opptre. Skuespilleren Samuel L. Jackson og (selfølgelig) Tiger Woods var også med på arrangementet.

I tillegg til pengene som kom inn fra konserten samlet Tiger Woods og Donald Trump inn en god del;
- Tiger solgte en privat putteinstruksjon og en plass i Pro-Amen Target World Championship til 155 000 dollar, nesten 1 million kroner. Tiger betalte også 50 000 dollar for en privat pokerinstruksjon med pokerlegenden phil Ivey.
- Donald Trump solgte en golfrunde og en luksuriøs helgetur til New York for 37 000 dollar, over 200 000 kroner.

Totalt ble det samlet inn 1 million dollar, hele 6,15 millioner kroner med dagens kurs (6,15).

Tiger selv var veldig fornøyd med arrangementet, og sa følgende til sin egen webside:
- “I think everyone enjoyed themselves and we were able to make a lot of money for the kids.”
